Positioning
What Momentyx is.
A studio that started with websites and kept going into the systems businesses actually use to attract, respond to and manage customers.
Most small businesses don’t have a website problem in isolation. They have a presentation problem, a response problem and an admin problem, and the website is simply the part everyone can see. Fixing only the visible part tends to produce a better-looking business that still loses enquiries on a Saturday afternoon.
So the work here covers both ends. The site is built to make a capable business look like one, and the systems behind it—AI receptionists, CRM, follow-up automation—are scoped so the enquiry that arrives while you’re working still exists when you sit down.
Momentyx is independent and Australian, works remotely with businesses nationwide, and is small on purpose. Small enough to scope a project properly rather than push it through a template, and structured enough to support it once it is live.

How we work.
Six commitments that shape every project, and that you are welcome to hold us to.

Outcome before technology
The first conversation is about customers, enquiries and what currently isn’t working—not frameworks, platforms or tooling. The technical decisions follow from the outcome, and they are ours to worry about rather than yours.

Scope agreed in writing
Every project starts with a written scope covering what is being built, what isn’t, what it costs and roughly how long it takes. Anything outside that is quoted before the work happens, never added to an invoice afterwards.

Built by hand, kept light
Momentyx’s main website pages are hand-built using HTML, CSS and lightweight JavaScript. No page builder, no framework weight, no template shared with a hundred other businesses, and nothing loading in the background that the page does not need.

Accessible by construction
Semantic structure, keyboard-operable navigation, visible focus states and colour contrast checked against WCAG 2.2 AA during the build rather than patched afterwards. Reduced-motion preferences are respected everywhere.

You own everything
The domain is registered in your name and the finished files are handed to you at launch. Care and hosting are optional, so nothing is held hostage if you decide to move the site elsewhere.

Direct contact, start to finish
The same person scopes the work, designs it, builds it and supports it. There is no account manager relaying messages, and nothing is quietly subcontracted to someone you have never spoken to.
Where external platforms come in. Websites are hand-built, but AI receptionists, CRM systems, messaging and automation run on established third-party platforms. Momentyx selects, configures, integrates and supports those services rather than developing them from scratch, and every service a project depends on is named in the written scope along with its ongoing cost.
The process
Five stages, and what each one needs from you.
Projects rarely drift because of the build. They drift because content, photos and feedback take longer to arrive than anyone expects, so each stage below states what is needed from your side.

Scope
A call or email exchange about what the business does, who it serves and what isn’t working. You receive a recommended approach, a written scope and a price.
From you: an honest description of the problem.

Design
Structure, layout and content order are shaped around how your customers actually decide.
From you: logos, photography, service details and any existing copy worth keeping.

Build
The site is written by hand, tested across screen sizes and checked for accessibility and performance as it goes.
From you: nothing, other than answers to the occasional question.

Review
You get a private preview link and see the real thing, not a picture of it.
From you: consolidated feedback, ideally in one pass rather than five.

Launch & care
The site goes live on your domain and the files are handed over. Ongoing care is available if you would rather not manage hosting, backups and updates yourself.

How it runs

Support runs Monday to Friday, AEST, against response targets rather than resolution guarantees. Enquiries that arrive outside those hours are picked up the next business day—which is precisely the gap that AI receptionists and automated follow-up are designed to cover for your customers.
An honest note
On the portfolio.
The three projects on the Work page are concept websites, built end to end so the standard of the work can be judged directly rather than described.
Wattlebank Plumbing & Gas, Ombra & Oat and Vellamere Skin & Body Co. are fictional businesses. Their websites are concept builds created by Momentyx to demonstrate design and build capability across different industries. They are complete, working front ends—not client projects.
You will not find testimonials, reviews, client logos, conversion figures or revenue claims on this site, because inventing them is the easiest thing in this industry to do and the hardest to justify. When genuine ones exist and permission has been given, they will appear properly attributed.
